Fire Awareness Training

Part of the Fire Safety Order 2005, which came into effect on 1st October 2006, was to force Employers to give staff sufficient training in fire safety.  It states:

A13 (3) The Responsible Person (RP) must, where necessary,

  • (a) take the measures for fire fighting in the premises...
  • (b) nominate competent persons (CP) to implement those measures and ensure that an adequate number of trained staff with the right equipment taking into account hazards;and
  • (c) liaise with the external emergency services,

A19: Provision of Information to Employees

(1) The RP must provide his employees with comprehensible and relevant information on:

  • (a) The risks to them identified on the Risk Assessment
  • (b) The preventative and protective measures....

The list goes on, however, we have devised simple presentation which once given to your employees will allow your business to conform with the law, and at the same time make your workplace a safer environment, giving you piece of mind.

We can come to your place of work, to give all your employees training whereby they will be shown how to use a fire extinguisher, which extinguisher to use, and taken through housekeeping and electrical safety.  This training can be provided for as little as £8 + VAT per person, (Based on Training of 25 people on one day).

We can also supply a power point presentation of the training which with a few details from you we can tailor to your company for only for £49.99 + VAT.  Once you run this presentation to your staff, you will forfil the employers requirements to give your staff basic fire awareness training, as required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005.
